Nearly 70000 applicants came from Chhattisgarh for the indian railway non-technical recruitment exam conducted here on Sunday. Apart from Candidates of Chhattisgarh even came from the state of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharastra and other states flooded in big number at the city railway station early morning.
Indian railway had held the admissions examination around the country of which Raipur alone had fifty one centres in different parts of the city and Durg-Bhilai had around 57 centres. The entrance exam was held in 2 intervals in the morning as well as in afternoon. Railway authorities & workers were in place at the exam centres along with the CRPF security to prevent any untoward incident.
